CODumentary was shot on location in Los Angeles, New York City, Dallas, Tulsa, Atlanta City, Rio De Janeiro, Paris, Utah Beach Normandy, London & at various sites in the UK.

From historic real life settings of the D-Day beaches through to an esports event featuring COD World Champions,this documentary looks at how the constant evolution of a video game has continued to maintain its position at the very top.

In 2007 Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare arrived which took the game to new heights reaching out to a whole new audience. It won numerous awards from across the world and even after huge success the publishers managed to bring in an extra development team to cope with the growing workload. Treyarch produced the highly acclaimed World at War in 2008 and a year later the stage was set for Call Of Duty;

Modern Warfare 2 which smashed all previous sales records and made itself the biggest and fastest selling entertainment product ever. The film and music industries looked on with envy and a year later it was the turn of Treyarch once again who released the highly acclaimed Black Ops.

It was around this time that Activision’s Bobby Kotick set up The Call of Duty Endowment, an organisation that helps ex-Armed Forces veterans find high quality careers by supporting groups that prepare them for the job market. Since 2009 COD Endowment has helped over 118,000 ex-military veterans find themselves jobs together with the support network needed for a new life outside of the Armed Forces.
