In 2007 Call of Duty 4:Modern Warfare arrived which took the game to new heights reaching out to a whole new audience. It won numerous awards from across the world and even after huge success the publishers managed to bring in an extra development team to cope with the growing workload. Treyarch produced the highly acclaimed World at War in 2008 and a year later the stage was set for Call Of Duty;
Modern Warfare 2 which smashed all previous sales records and made itself the biggest and fastest selling entertainment product ever. The film and music industries looked on with envy and a year later it was the turn of Treyarch once again who released the highly acclaimed Black Ops.
It was around this time that Activision’s Bobby Kotick set up The Call of Duty Endowment, an organisation that helps ex-Armed Forces veterans find high quality careers by supporting groups that prepare them for the job market.
